This tutorial is meant to share some tips in making the basic boxed bottom-method for creating either a basket or a square-bottomed bag (depending on dimensions).
Part 1: Cutting
The calculator will figure the size of the piece of fabric you need, assuming you have a non-directional fabric. If you have a directional fabric, cut half the length and add one seam allowance. You can enter measurements in either inches or centimeters (or whatever units you want), but please use the same unit for all dimensions!
